The concert
started with two works for piano solo:
Adagio KV. 540 and Rondo KV. 485, by W.A. Mozart
(1756-1792), to celebrate the 250th Anniversary
of the Austrian master.

| Following the two
works for piano, Oskar Espina Ruiz performed a
virtuoso work by J. C. Arriaga (1806-1826),
Introducción, Andante y Danza "La
Húngara", to celebrate the 200th
Anniversary of the Spanish master, born on the
same day as Mozart, 50 years later. |
